Berserk- Golden Age Arc Blu-Ray Preorders Are Steeply Discounted At Amazon

It’s been a nice year for fans of Berserk. The original 1997 anime adaptation released on Blu-ray earlier this year, and soon it’ll be joined by another new Blu-ray release. Berserk: The Golden Age Arc Memorial Edition, a Blu-ray collection of the 2012-2013 films, is set to launch on August 27. It’s available to preorder now at Amazon and Crunchyroll Store, and you can save on your preorder at either retailer. At the moment, you can save over 20% on your preorder at Amazon. Crunchyroll’s price is a couple bucks cheaper, but keep in mind you’ll have to pay for shipping, whereas you can get free shipping at Amazon. Essentially, Amazon has the better deal right now.

Bungie's Marathon Will Be $40 – Report

Bungie’s upcoming extraction shooter, Marathon, reportedly will cost $40 and the game is too far along in development to pivot to a free-to-play model.

According to Forbes and The Game Post, Helldivers 2’s $40 price point and monumental success cemented the premium-cost idea for Marathon. However, despite Concord’s $40 price tag, its failure reportedly didn’t deter Sony from doing the same for Marathon. Barring any sort of catastrophe, Marathon won’t be launching with a free-to-play model. The game will also reportedly have a standard cosmetic and battle-pass system in addition to the upfront $40 cost.

GTA Parent Company Hints At Plans To Support Switch 2

Take-Two has supported Nintendo platforms over the years, and the company expects that to continue with the Nintendo Switch 2. This comes just days after another high-profile publisher, EA, said something similar, indicating the Madden series may show up on Switch 2.

In an interview with Barron’s, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick said he’s not ready to make any announcements, but fans can expect reveals to come. “Historically, we’ve supported Nintendo platforms selectively; we’ve supported them when the platform is right for the property at hand,” Zelnick said. “We haven’t made any announcements, but I think you can expect it will be supportive when it makes sense.”
